Saturday's Aces Game Postponed; Doubleheader Sunday

RENO, Nev.- Saturday's Reno Aces game against the Sacramento River Cats has been postponed due to weather, and will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, May 29, at 1:05 p.m. PT.

Sunday's doubleheader will consist of two, seven-inning games, with game one set to begin at 1:05 p.m. PT at Aces Ballpark.

Tickets for Saturday's game may be exchanged for a ticket to any future 2011 regular-season home game, with the exception of July 3, subject to ticket availability. To exchange a ticket from Saturday's game for a future contest, fans can present their game ticket at the Aces Ballpark Box Office.

This marks the first postponed game in Aces Ballpark history. As a franchise, Reno had played its first 165 home games without a postponement.

In game one of Sunday's doubleheader, the Aces will send RHP Armando Galarraga (0-0, No ERA) to the mound, while Sacramento will counter with RHP Graham Godfrey (5-1, 2.82 ERA). In the nightcap, RHP Kyler Newby (2-2, 4.99 ERA) toes the slab for Reno, while the River Cats will turn to LHP Lenny DiNardo (0-1, 40.50 ERA). First pitch for game one is set for 1:05 p.m. PT, and is a Renown Children's Hospital Family Funday, with another round of baseball bingo on tap.
