Kalamazoo Wings News Release
The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce that the Harold Zeigler Auto Group's K-Wings Karavan will be at the following locations:
On Friday, July 12th, The K-Wings zany mascot, Slappy will join the Karavan at the Federal Center Company Picnic at the Binder Park Zoo. Slappy will be signing autograph for kids of all ages from 11am-2pm.
On Saturday, July 13th, Slappy and recently signed forward Bryan Farquhar will be in the K-Wings Karavan as the Kalamazoo Wings will proudly participate in the Kindleberger Summer Festival Parade. The parade will commence at 10 am.
The K-Wings Karavan is a Chrysler Caravan provided by the Harold Zeigler Auto Group designed to promote the K-Wings, the sport of hockey, as well as family fun. The Kalamazoo Wings will be cruising Western Michigan this summer promoting the sport of hockey.
In addition to the K-Wings Karavan, the K-Wings and the Harold Zeigler Auto Group have also formed a partnership to bring fans the Kalamazoo Wings Puck Shoot Booth. This massive 16'x12' inflatable gives fans the opportunity to test their shooting skills against their favorite Kalamazoo Wings players.
