SaskEnergy announced today at Taylor Field that it will be selling Bobby the Bobblehead sport dolls as part of the SaskEnergy Catch For Kids program to raise funds for KidSport Saskatchewan.

REMAX Joyce Tourney Realty purchased 1,000 bobbleheads at a cost of $10,000 to show its support for this initiative.

"We are very excited that the introduction of the first-ever bobblehead sports doll to Saskatchewan will benefit children, who otherwise may not have a chance to participate in sports," said Ron Clark, President and CEO, SaskEnergy.

Bobby the Bobblehead is a ceramic football player approximately six inches tall. The player is dressed in a Green-and-White Saskatchewan Roughrider jersey with a Rider logo on the front and a KidSport logo on the back. The head bobbles back and forth, and up and down.

Only 5,000 bobblehead dolls will be available for sale and each one will be numbered as part of a limited edition.

SaskEnergy Catch For Kids ambassadors – quarterback Nealon Greene and kicker Paul McCallum – have signed 610 bobbleheads. Unsigned dolls sell for $10; single signature $15; and double signature $20.

The bobblehead doll is currently being sold in the Rider Store and online at www.shopsaskriders.com or by calling 566-4242, 1-888-4RIDERS.
