
Santos Promoted to Milwaukee

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. -- The Milwaukee Brewers purchased the contract of veteran righthanded pitcher Victor Santos from Indianapolis Sunday and assigned him to long relief duties in the bullpen.
Santos, 27, had three starts with Indianapolis this season. He posted a 3.48 ERA in three games, allowing 12 hits in 10.1 innings pitched. Santos also struck out 11 and walked four.
During Spring Training, Santos went 1-0 , earned one save and posted an 0.75 ERA for the Brewers.
