
Santa Cruz Warriors Guard Patrick Spencer Suffers Season Ending Injury

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Santa Cruz Warriors today announced that guard Patrick Spencer has suffered a season ending injury. The guard fractured his wrist in the Warriors win over the South Bay Lakers on January 27. Spencer's returning player rights will remain with Santa Cruz.
Spencer played in 9 games (5 starts) for the Sea Dubs averaging 11.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 27.3 minutes per game.
In corresponding roster news, the Santa Cruz Warriors have added guard Ikenna Ndugba. Ndugba appeared in 23 games for the Greensboro Swarm during the 2021-22 season averaging 4.9 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 18.2 minutes per game. Ndugba will be active for the Sea Dubs in tonight's contest against the Ontario Clippers.
The Warriors return to Kaiser Permanente Arena tonight at 7pm to face the Ontario Clippers and host the team's annual Black History Month Celebration game, presented by Chase.
