
Santa Cruz Warriors Beat South Bay Lakers in Back-and-Forth Thriller, 111-100

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Santa Cruz Warriors (7-6) beat the South Bay Lakers (9-4) 111-100 on Friday night at Kaiser Permanente Arena, extending their winning streak to three games.
The Warriors were led by center James Wiseman, on assignment from Golden State, with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Ryan Rollins, also on assignment from Golden State, finished the night with a triple double, notching 22 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Guards JaQuori McLaughlin and Lester Quinones contributed 17 points and 15 points respectively in the win.
The Lakers were led by forward Devin Cannady with 29 points. Forward LJ Figueroa had 12 points and seven rebounds and forward Fabian White Jr. added 11 points and eight rebounds off the bench for South Bay.
The Warriors took an early lead to open the first frame, however the Lakers came back to take the lead late in the quarter. A three-point shot by Warriors forward Zeke Moore with 20 seconds remaining gave the Sea Dubs a 29-28 lead heading into the second quarter. The game featured nine lead changes in the first half, but the contest remained tied at 51 heading into halftime.
The Lakers led by as many as 10 points in the third quarter, but a late offensive push by the Warriors closed South Bay's lead to 86-81 heading into the final frame. After holding the Lakers to just two points during the first five minutes of play in the fourth quarter, the Warriors took the lead, 90-88. After 14 lead changes throughout the contest, the Warriors secured the win, 111-100.
The Santa Cruz Warriors will face the Oklahoma City Blue on Sunday, December 11 at 1 p.m. PST at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, CA.
