
Windy City Bulls Bounce Back With Victory Over Fort Wayne Mad AntsïÃâÿÃâü

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, beat the Fort Wayne Mad Ants 129-119 Friday night at NOW Arena. Windy City was led by forward Henri Drell with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
The Bulls scored 40 points in the first quarter to jump out to an eight-point lead. Windy City entered halftime up eight points, but Fort Wayne caught fire to start the third period.
The Mad Ants rattled off a 21-4 run to begin the second half, but Windy City weathered the storm to head into the final 12 minutes ahead 96-94. The Bulls distanced themselves from the Mad Ants in the final period, emerging with a 10-point victory.
Windy City guard Ethan Thompson went 8-for-11 from the field, scoring 23 points off the bench. Guard Carlik Jones chipped in 22 points on 62% shooting. Forward Nick King finished with 20 points after shooting 7-10 from the field and knocking down both of his three-point attempts.
The Bulls dominated in the paint, outscoring the Mad Ants 78-32. Windy City shot 54.4% from the field, while Fort Wayne connected on 48.2% of its field goal attempts.
The Mad Ants were led by forward Trevelin Queen with 33 points on 50% shooting. Fort Wayne forward Justin Anderson and center Deividas Sirvydis each finished with 19 points.
With the win, Windy City improved to 7-4 on the season, while Fort Wayne fell to 8-5.
Tomorrow, the Bulls have a rematch with the Mad Ants at NOW Arena. The game will tip-off at 7:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on NBAGLeague.com.
