
Santa Cruz Warriors Acquire Karron Johnson

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors have acquired forward Karron Johnson from the available player pool.
Johnson, 24, most recently appeared in 15 games with Kotwica Ko"obrzeg in Poland's top basketball league, where he ranked second on the team in rebounds (4.9) and third on the team in points (11.7) per game. The 6-8, 240-pound forward averaged 17.4 points on 61.4 percent field goal shooting during his senior year at Shaw University.
Johnson will join the Santa Cruz Warriors in time for tonight's home contest against the Bakersfield Jam, which tips off at 7:00 p.m. at Kaiser Permanente Arena. He will wear jersey #33.
