
Santa Cruz Snaps Four-Game Losing Streak and Beats Austin, 123-110

CEDAR PARK, TX - The Santa Cruz Warriors (5-6) beat the Austin Spurs (3-4) in Sunday night's matchup, 123-110. The Warriors snapped a four-game losing streak with the victory.
Behind 19 first half points from Golden State Warriors two-way guard Quinndary Weatherspoon, the Warriors gained a three-point advantage into halftime, 62-59, for their first halftime lead in their past five games.
Through the first three quarters, neither team led by more than seven points, however the Warriors were able to extend their lead to as many 18 in the fourth quarter after going six-for-nine behind the arc. The game saw nine ties and 13 lead changes.
Golden State Warriors Assignment Guard Moses Moody and Weatherspoon both finished the game with 27 points. The Golden State Warriors Other Two-Way Guard, Chris Chiozza, played in his second game of the season with Santa Cruz and tallied 24 points (5-11 3FG) and 10 assists.
The Spurs were led by guard Jaylen Morris with 21 points. Forward Zach Collins added 16 points and 10 rebounds on assignment from the San Antonio Spurs.
