CEDAR PARK, Texas (Jan. 30, 2022) - Los Raros de Austin, the alternate identity of the Austin Spurs that translates to "the Austin weirdos," fell to the Santa Cruz Warriors by a final score of 123-110 on Sunday night.
San Antonio Spurs assignee Zach Collins recorded 16 points and 10 rebounds, and two-way player Devontae Cacok posted 8 points and 14 rebounds. Cacok's streak of 15 straight double-doubles was two short of topping the all-time G League record for consecutive double-doubles (16).
Jaylen Morris put up a team-high 21 points for the Spurs.
Moses Moody and Quinndary Weatherspoon led Santa Cruz with 27 points each. Moody (12 rebounds) and Chris Chiozza (24 points, 10 assists) finished with double-doubles in the Warriors' win.
The 2021-22 Austin Spurs season is presented by SWBC.
