San Jose, CA - The San Jose Giants return to Municipal Stadium for their 2018 Opening Homestand this Thursday, April 12 through Sunday, April 15. The Giants home schedule kicks off with an exciting four-game set against the Oakland Athletics affiliate and Northern Division rival Stockton Ports. Homestand highlights include an Opening Night Celebration, Comic-Con Weekend featuring a Super-Gigante bobblehead giveaway, Super Hero Night and Video Game Sunday. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling 408.297.1435, visiting the Municipal Stadium Box Office or by going online to sjgiants.com.
The Giants first homestand of the 2018 season begins with an Opening Night Celebration with festivities including special pregame ceremonies, a 2018 San Jose Giants Magnet Schedule giveaway and postgame fireworks. Comic-Con Kickoff Weekend launches on Friday-a convention featuring baseball, barbeque, characters and an exclusive Super-Gigante bobblehead giveaway to the first 500 fans on both Friday and Saturday. Saturday is also Super Hero Night complete with postgame fireworks, presented by Blossom Valley Pony Baseball. The Opening Homestand concludes on Sunday with an Aquafina Pregame Clinic and action-packed Video Game Day. San Jose Giants baseball is back, so come out to Municipal Stadium and enjoy fun, affordable family entertainment! Tickets are on sale now!

Opening Night Celebration: Baseball is back in the South Bay! Our San Jose Giants kick off their 2018 season home schedule with an Opening Night Celebration at Municipal Stadium on April 12 against the Stockton Ports.
Opening Night Fireworks: The Giants launch the 2018 Fireworks Extravaganza schedule with Opening Night Fireworks immediately following the Opening Night game.
Magnet Schedule Giveaway: As a part of Opening Weekend, fans will receive a commemorative 2018 San Jose Giants Magnet Schedule on April 12 and April 15. The Opening Weekend giveaway for fans to follow the San Jose Giants schedule all season long.
Krazy George Appearance: Come meet Krazy George, the inventor of The Wave, and prepare to get loud, get rowdy and cheer on your San Jose Giants to victory!

Video Game Sunday: The San Jose Giants Opening Homestand concludes with an exciting Video Game Sunday. Enjoy baseball, barbecue and 8-bits of fun.
Aquafina Pregame Clinic: Aquafina and the San Jose Giants have teamed up to present a clinic an hour and a half prior to the game. Bring your glove and learn the fundamentals of baseball from a handful of San Jose Giants players. After the clinic, participants will watch the instructors put their words into action as the Giants take the field in California League action. Martinelli's Apple Juice Kids Run the Bases: Kids get to scamper around the diamond after the game as a part of Martinelli's Kids run the Bases.
