
San Jose Giants Celebrate 7 Million Fans Through Municipal Stadium Gates

San Jose, CA- Rolando Jorquera, accompanied by his girlfriend Jessica Lopez, helped make history Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Municipal Stadium when he entered the front gate as the 7 Millionth fan in the San Jose Franchise's history. The San Jose Giants reached the milestone with the help of the 58,527 fans entering the Municipal Stadium gates this year.
Rolando and Jessica were greeted with a celebration at the front gate and were presented with a gift basket including a San Jose Giants 2016 Season Pass, San Jose Giants apparel, San Jose Bees VIP Package valid for tickets, BBQ and parking during George Brett Night on June 18. The couple also received team memorabilia including San Francisco Giant Josh Osich, San Jose Giants Manager Lipso Nava and San Francisco Giants top prospect Chris Shaw signed baseballs, a team autographed pennant, homegrown Giants Brandon Crawford Gold Glove and Silver Slugger Bobbleheads, Madison Bumgarner Bobblehead, Joe Panik Backpack and a San Francisco Giants 2014 World Series Replica Ring. In addition, several San Jose Giants partners such as Alliance Credit Union, Game Day Feels, Gilroy Gardens, Giorgio's, Happy Hollow, Hard Frescos, Homestead Bowl, In-and-Out, Luv's Brownies, Loop Neighborhood, Los Lagos Golf Course, Operation: Care and Comfort, Raging Waters, Rockin' Jump, Rotten Robbie, Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 104, South Bay Piping and Winchester Mystery House graciously donated items for the special gift bag. Rolando also received his heights worth of Uncle Ray's Potato Chips, the Official Potato Chip of Minor League Baseball, which he has chosen to kindly donate to Cambrian Park Little League. To top it off, the Hard Frescos Noodle Stand is now serving the "Jessica Noodle Bowl" for the remainder of the year and their closest friends will receive 49 tickets to the San Francisco 49ers Antoine Bethea Celebrity Softball Game on June 11 at Municipal Stadium.
"I was completely shocked when they surprised us," said Rolando Jorquera. "After running late to the game we were afraid they weren't letting people in anymore. We just moved to the area and were getting our cable installed, so now we can watch this surprise On Demand! Although this is our first San Jose Giants game, we now look forward to coming back several times this year with our Season Pass. This is unbelievable, we never win anything!".
The entire San Jose Giants front office congratulated Roland and his girlfriend Jessica at the front gate.
