San Diego Wildcats News Release

Miami, FL. Starz in Motion announced today Adrian "Marquis" Weatherford as its San Diego winner of the nationwide talent search, Starz in Motion "Shooting Starz."

During halftime of the ABA San Diego Wildcats exhibition game against the Fresno Heatwave, Adrian competed against two other semi-finalists, Tony "Demico" Harris and Nicki Ahu. The contestants each performed a song center court during halftime of the game as fans got the opportunity to cheer for their favorite contestant to determine the winner.

Adrian, a twenty-nine year old from San Diego, won the audience vote with his performance of "I Can't Love You." Adrian has been pursuing his musical career for approximately seven years. He's recently been in the recording studio producing demo cd's of his original music. He plans to release an independent album in January, 2007.

Auditions were held Friday, October 27th at Chula Vista Center in San Diego, where contestants were selected to compete at the Wildcats game the following night. Contestants participating got the opportunity to meet veteran San Diego Charger Kassim Osgood who served as a celebrity judge and were given two complimentary tickets to the game.

Details on Auditions for remaining competitions are posted on www.starzinmotion.com - and will be tied in with both ABA games and NASCAR events throughout the year. For more information, email info@prestigepromotion.com or visit www.abalive.com.
