Slam single game tickets to go on sale Wednesday

Bellingham, Wash. - The American Basketball Association's Bellingham Slam announced today that 2006 single game tickets will go on sale Tuesday, November 1 for the team's second season. Single game tickets will be available for purchase for the Slam's first nine home games in November and December. Tickets to the following games will be available for purchase on November 1, with tickets for the remainder of the team's home games in January and February of 2007 going on sale December 1:

Tues. 11/21/06 vs. Beijing Olympians
Wed. 11/22/06 vs. Beijing Olympians
Tues. 12/12/06 vs. Fresno Heatwave
Wed. 12/13/06 vs. Fresno Heatwave
Thurs. 12/21/06 vs. Tijuana Dragons
Fri. 12/22/06 vs. Tijuana Dragons
Sat. 12/30/06 vs. King County Royals

All games start at 7 pm at Whatcom Pavilion

Fans can choose from two different seating options at Whatcom Pavilion. A limited number of courtside seats are available at $20 per game. General admission tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors age 65 and over, and $5 for children 12 and under. Prices include all applicable taxes.

Tickets may be purchased beginning 10 a.m. tomorrow by calling the Slam ticket office at 734-SLAM or by purchasing online at www.bellinghamslam.com.

To help kick off the start of the Slam season, the team is also holding an open practice on Wednesday night. The practice will be held at the Boys and Girls Club at 1715 Kentucky Street, from 5 to 7 p.m. All fans are welcome to attend to get a sneak preview of the 2006-07 Slam squad.
