
San Diego Gulls Release Bonis from PTO

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has released forward Kyle Bonis from his professional try-out (PTO).
Bonis, 27 (2/15/89), appeared in 32 games with San Diego this season, collecting 4-6=10 points with six penalty minutes (PIM) and a +6 rating. A native of Lindsay, ON, Bonis signed his first PTO with San Diego on Nov. 24, 2015 and his second on Feb. 7, 2016. The 5-11, 175-pound left wing appeared in 15 games with Toledo (ECHL), recording 5-4=9 points with six PIM, prior to joining San Diego.
