THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Wednesday, Feb. 18 at Rockford IceHogs
BMO Harris Bank Center, 10:30 a.m.
The Rampage and the IceHogs meet for the fourth and final time in the 2014-15 regular season. San Antonio is winless in the first three meetings of the season series and has been outscored 13-5 in those meetings. Phillip Danault leads the IceHogs with three goals and four assists in the season series, and Garret Ross has tallied three goals. Greg Zanon has three assists against Rockford, while Connor Brickley has two goals and Mark Mancari and Blake Parlett have a goal and an assist each.
Saturday, Feb. 21 at Chicago Wolves
Allstate Arena, 6:00 p.m.
The Silver and Black are 1-1 against the Wolves so far this season, as the teams split a two-game series in San Antonio in December. The Rampage took the first matchup 2-1 on Dec. 7 and fell two nights later, 6-2. Ty Rattie has a goal and two assists to lead the Wolves against San Antonio, while four other players have a goal and an assist each.
Sunday, Feb. 22 at Chicago Wolves
Allstate Arena, 2:00 p.m.
The Rampage and the Wolves meet for the final time in the regular season to wrap up a four-game series. Chicago sits just two points behind the Rampage in the Western Conference standings, which makes for two important matchups between the two teams. Chicago had a four-game winning streak snapped by the Grand Rapids on Sunday while the Rampage are on a two-game skid after losses to the Griffins and the IceHogs.
Rodeo Road Trip
Feb. 18-Feb. 22
The Rampage stay in Rockford to take on the IceHogs again Wednesday morning with puck drop slated for 10:30 a.m. Enjoy a game of hockey with eggs and coffee! San Antonio then heads to Chicago to play Assistant Coach Scott Allen's former team, the Wolves, for another back-to-back weekend. Saturday night's game is set for 6:00 p.m. but Sunday's game will be an afternoon matinee starting at 2:00 p.m.
PUTTING THE BISCUIT IN THE BASKET: The Rampage rank first in the Ameri- can Hockey League in goals per game. With 163 goals through the first 50 games of the season, San Antonio averages 3.26 goals per contest.
ROSTER MOVEMENT: The Rampage back line looks a little different than it has previously this season with Alex Petrovic, Steven Kampfer and Shane O'Brien all currently with the Florida Panthers. Defensemen Mackenzie Weegar, Shayne Taker and Josh McFadden played together in a game for the first time this season in Sun- day's contest against the IceHogs.
ROAD TRIP MAP: The Rampage are four games into the Rodeo Road Trip with seven games remaining. The road ahead will present tough challenges for the Silver and Black, whose remaining opponents include Oklahoma City, Rockford and Chica- go, the teams ranked first, fourth and seventh, respectively, in the Western Confer- ence.
ICE CHIPS: Connor Brickley - Rampage Winger
With three goals over the weekend, Connor Brickley now leads all rookies in the American Hockey League in goals. With 17 tallies on the season, he ranks in a tie for second on the team in goals (with Garrett Wilson). The 6-0, 190-pound left wing is in the middle of a breakout rookie season, having notched 29 points in 47 games. He played eight games for the Rampage last season after wrapping up his career at the University of Vermont and tallied a goal and an assist.
