San Antonio FC News Release
SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC will host D'Feeters Kicks Soccer Club in the second round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup on Tuesday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m. CT, the club announced today. DKSC comes to Toyota Field after topping the Denton Diablos 3-2 in the first round yesterday.
The US Open Cup is back for the first time since 2019, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2019, San Antonio FC topped Laredo Heat SC 2-0 at Toyota Field in the second round. SAFC's run ended in the third round, falling 4-2 on the road to Austin Bold FC on May 29. When the two sides kick off on April 5, it will have been just under three years since the club competed in the tournament.
Tickets for the match will be general admission for sections 101-109, on a first-come first-serve basis, as well as the Michelob Ultra Bunker for Supporters Groups. Tickets are 10 dollars, are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting SanAntonioFC.com, the San Antonio FC app or by calling (210) 444-5657.
