Davila Goal Enough for LA Galaxy II to Stop Rio Grande Valley FC Toros

LOS ANGELES - Playing their fourth match of the 2022 USL Championship Regular Season, LA Galaxy II earned their first victory of the year with a 1-0 shutout win over Rio Grande Valley FC Toros at Dignity Health Sports on Wednesday night. Taylor Davila scored the game-winning goal, his first of the season, while goalkeeper Eric López tallied two saves and a shutout in his first appearance of 2022.

LA - Taylor Davila, 45th minute: After Rio Grande Valley defender Jesus Vazquez was whistled for a handball inside the penalty area, Preston Judd's right-footed shot was parried away by Toros goalkeeper Colin Martin. Taylor Davila was first to the rebound and fired his shot into the back of the net.
