LOS ANGELES - LA Galaxy II today announced that the club has transferred midfielder Alex Alcalá to English Premier League side Manchester City.
Alcalá, 18, recorded three goals and three assists in 22 games played (18 starts) in his first season as a professional for LA Galaxy II during the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro campaign. Internationally, the LA Galaxy Academy product has made multiple appearances at the youth level for Mexico.
"We are proud that another member of the Galaxy professional development pathway is continuing his career at one of the biggest clubs in the world," said LA Galaxy General Manager Will Kuntz. "We are thrilled for the opportunity that Alex has earned himself."
