San Antonio FC Midfielder Billy Forbes Named to USL Championship Team of the Week

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC midfielder Billy Forbes was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week, the league announced today. Forbes recorded a goal and an assist in the 3-0 win over rivals Austin Bold FC last Wednesday.

In the win, Forbes took five shots and recorded two key passes. He also made a game-high 11 successful dribbles, giving him 37 on the season, which ranks third best on the team. So far this season, the Turks and Caicos native has played in 16 matches, totaling 1,007 minutes and recording two goals, two assists and 19 key passes.

The honor marks the sixth time in his SAFC career that Forbes has been named to the USL Championship team of the week. The winger earned the recognition four times during the 2017 season and now twice during the 2019 campaign.
