
Independence Host 5th Annual Fire vs Police Charity Soccer Game

Charlotte (NC) - The Charlotte Independence professional soccer team will host the 5th Annual Fire vs Police Charity Soccer Game courtesy of Beyond Mail and That Too. On Saturday, July 13th, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department will take on the Charlotte Fire Department at 4:30 PM ET at the Sportsplex at Matthews (2425 Sports Parkway, Matthews, NC 28105) with ticket proceeds benefiting the CMPD Hope Foundation and The Burned Children's Fund. Following the charity game, the Independence face off against Saint Louis FC at 7:00 PM ET. Tickets will grant you access to both the Fire vs Police game, the Independence game, and pre-game, tailgate activities.
The night will feature The Pink Lady Fire Truck, the CMPD K-9 Unit, Blaze the CFD mascot, Honor Guard and an Independence team who carries a six-game undefeated streak, as well as a three-game, home win streak. In an effort to support our local first responders, each ticket includes a $5 donation that will go to the department of your choosing and their respective charity.
