San Antonio FC News Release
SAN ANTONIO, TX - The kick-off time for the match between San Antonio FC and the Colorado Springs Switchbacks at Toyota Field on July 25 has been changed to 8 p.m. to accommodate the game's selection for national television on ESPNU, the club announced today. Following the match, Toyota Field will host a postgame fireworks show, as well as an 'Extra Time' Postgame Party.
The match will be the USL Game of the Week and it marks the second SAFC match to air on ESPNU along with San Antonio's 1-1 draw with the OKC Energy FC on July 14, 2017. The fireworks show will begin soon after the conclusion of the match, and will be displayed behind the north end of the stadium.
Following the final whistle, 'Extra Time' will begin behind the east concourse of Toyota Field and will be open until 11 p.m. Fans will be able to enjoy live music as well as $1 beer from The Tap Inn - the new 30-tap beer trailer at Toyota Field, which will be the only location to feature the eight new craft beers inside the stadium - while $1 sodas will also be available. 'Extra Time' will also feature games like giant jenga and cornhole along with other activities. The Soccer Factory tent at section 129 will also be open during 'Extra Time' with fans receiving 10 percent off select SAFC merchandise during the postgame party.
Next Wednesday's match is also a Dollar Drink Night presented by Bud Light, with the $1 beer and sodas being offered up to the 65th minute in-venue, and again at the 'Extra Time' postgame party. Tickets to match at Toyota Field start at just $10 and can be purchased by visiting SanAntonioFC.com or by calling 210-444-5657.
