
Espanyol Open Training Session July 23

RICHMOND, VA - - The Richmond Kickers announced today that the club will host an RCD Espanyol open training session, presented by Lalo's Cocina at City Stadium on Monday, July 23. Gates open at 6:30pm and training is scheduled to begin at 7:00pm. Monday's open training session will offer fans an exclusive look at RCD Espanyol, from the world famous LaLiga, in advance of the exhibition match with the Kickers, presented by Big Apple Neighborhood Market, on Wednesday, July 25. All members of the media are invited to attend.
Admission to the open training session is free with purchase of a match ticket and food and drinks will be available for purchase from Happy Empanada. Registration is open now at RichmondKickers.com.
In addition, LaLiga World will host a free youth soccer clinic for 30 players ages 8-10 on the City Stadium field prior to the open training session. The clinic will focus on finishing, goalkeeping and technical skills, and each participant will receive a full LaLiga World uniform, soccer ball, and access to the RCD Espanyol open training session.
The youth soccer clinic is free with purchase of a match ticket and registration is available on a first come, first served basis at RichmondKickers.com.
RCD Espanyol will make City Stadium their training base during the club's six-day preseason camp in Richmond. The historic match scheduled for Wednesday, July 25th will highlight the training camp and marks the first time a team from Spain's top flight will appear in Virginia.
