Quotes:

Head Coach Alen Marcina

(On the loss...)

"I believe going through adversity will only make us stronger, and even more resilient. I think we have an opportunity now to reset, refocus, get back to what made us the most feared team in the league. Back to the basics, being aggressive with and without the ball, verticality in our play, dominant in transitions. We have to get back to that monster mentality - and we will. We'll learn from this game and we'll have a great week of training, and we're going to treat Indy [Eleven] as a playoff game."

(On rebounding next week...)

"We learn through adversity ... we have to reset, we have to be focused, get back to the basics. We do the basics, and be committed each day. Get back that monster mentality, and leave it all on the line against Indy, and hopefully that means earning three points and maintaining second position in the Western Conference."

Forward Tani Oluwaseyi

(On the loss...)

"I think it's going to be a tough one, a tough pill to swallow. I think coming into the game today we had a game plan and guys were up for it, but I don't think we put our best performance out there today and that's kind of the result you get when you don't put your best foot forward."

(On how the team can rebound next week...)

"I think the team had some good conversations after the game about what's gone wrong, and the things that we can improve on moving forward. And I think the most important thing is just getting back to basics and just reminding ourselves what our identity is, and heading into the next game with that mindset, and also for the playoffs so just hopefully ... put the work in this week and get the win next week."

Defender Connor Maloney

(On the loss...)

"It wasn't the best performance that we put out there tonight, I'm disappointed to not get the three points and move ahead going into playoffs. So, like Tani said, we had conversations after the game; what went wrong, that we have to get back to basics. It starts next week in training, how you train is how you play. So it all starts in training next week."

(On how the team refocuses for next weekend...)

"It's about holding each other accountable, day in and day out. On the field and off the field, and that's how we're going to get our results and that's how it's going to translate to the games."
