SAN ANTONIO, TX - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced on Thursday that the Blues have recalled forward Sammy Blais (BLAY) from the San Antonio Rampage.

Blais, 22, has played in nine games with the Rampage since he was assigned from St. Louis on Oct. 23. A sixth-round draft pick of the Blues in 2014, Blais registered two goals and 16 penalty minutes with San Antonio. The Montmagny, QC native has played in 51 games for the Rampage over the past two seasons, totaling 19 goals and 42 points.

The 6-foot-2 forward began the season with St. Louis, appearing in eight games for the Blues. Blais has recorded a goal and three points in 19 career NHL games for St. Louis.

The Rampage return to action on Saturday night against the Rockford IceHogs. Saturday is San Antonio's first ever Hockey Fights Cancer game, and Rampage players will wear special lavender jerseys that will be auctioned off following the game to benefit the ThriveWell Cancer Foundation. Puck-drop is scheduled for 7 p.m., with the game available on The Ticket 760AM and on AHLTV.
