Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz News Release

OKLAHOMA CITY-During the summer months, the Ford Center in downtown Oklahoma City is home to the arenafootball2 team, the Yard Dawgz. When the team takes the field in 2007, they will be stepping on to new territory, now known as Compassionate Care Hospice Field.

Not only has Compassionate Care Hospice purchased the field naming rights for the Yard Dawgz, but they have become one of the team's primary sponsors. The recent partnership between the two franchises has prompted a number of positive changes within the Yard Dawgz organization. The Compassionate Care Hospice logo will be featured in Yard Dawgz publications, including the game day program, and will be posted on the team website. The biggest change, however, will be the Compassionate Care Hospice logo featured on the artificial turf.

Yard Dawgz Assistant General Manager, Ryan Haigh, is excited about the recent partnership. "We are proud to partner with Compassionate Care Hospice," commented Haigh. "They are a quality, family run organization that exemplifies everything that arena football stands for."

Compassionate Care Hospice provides a quality life for individuals in terminal situations, usually from disease or illness. They seek to reduce or eliminate pain and other physical symptoms which will enable the patient to ease or resolve psychological and spiritual problems. Hospice care lends its focus to the person, not the problem, and brings hope to the individual and their loved ones.

Compassionate Care Hospice is Oklahoma City's premier hospice care provider. For more information, contact Compassionate Care Hospice at 405.948.4357.

No matter the name of the field, the Yard Dawgz will deliver the energetic and hard-hitting football that fans have come to expect. First year Head Coach John Fitzgerald is anticipating another successful year in arena football. The former AFL quarterback is accustomed to winning, which makes him a good match for the Yard Dawgz who have made three consecutive playoff appearances.

The Yard Dawgz will host the Quad City Steamwheelers on April 21, at 7:05 p.m., for the debut of Compassionate Care Hospice Field at the Ford Center. Call 405.228.3294 or visit www.okcyarddawgz.com to reserve your seat today!
