
Saltdogs Win Finale in Lincoln, 10-1

LINCOLN, Nebraska - The AirHogs fell to the Lincoln Saltdogs 10-1 in the series finale at Haymarket Park Wednesday. The game was the final of the regular season between the 2 teams.
The Saltdogs tagged AirHogs starter Sam Martin for 2 home runs and 4 total runs over the first 2 frames. They got to relief man Tyler Ihrig for 5 runs on 5 hits in the 4th to open the lead.
Juan Sanchez got the AirHogs on the board with an RBI double to score Michael Hur in the top of the 5th. The AirHogs managed 1 run on 6 hits off Lincoln starter Ryan O'Sullivan before Ryan Davis and Stephen Shackleford finished the contest in the 8th and 9th.
The Saltdogs were led by Austin Darby, who drove in 5 and went deep to lead off the 2nd against Martin.
Martin absorbed his 4th loss, while O'Sullivan picked up his 3rd win. The AirHogs enjoy an off day tomorrow before opening a 3-game set at Lewis and Clark Park vs.the Sioux City Explorers on Friday. RHP Matt Shepherd is expected to start for the AirHogs. First pitch is slated for 7:05 pm.
