Lincoln Saltdogs News Release
LINCOLN, NE - The Lincoln Saltdogs regret to announce the cancellation of the exhibition game that had been scheduled for Friday, May 7 at Christenson Field in Beatrice. A scheduling change involving the Southeast Community College baseball team necessitated their use of the field for games on Friday.
The Saltdogs still plan to have two exhibition games open to the public. Lincoln takes on Fargo-Moorhead on Saturday, May 8 at East Hill Park in York, with the first pitch set for 6pm. The two teams will then play on Sunday, May 9 at Haymarket Park, with the first pitch set for 6:05. The Sunday game serves as the preseason party for season ticket holders, and all other fans may purchase any available seat for only five dollars a ticket.
Season Ten of Saltdogs Baseball begins on May 13 in Sioux Falls, with the home opener scheduled for May 25 against Wichita. For more team and ticket information, go to www.saltdogs.com.
