
Saltdogs and Lemurs Suspended by Rain Monday

LINCOLN -- The series opener between the Saltdogs (23-25) and the Laredo Lemurs (26-21) was suspended due to rain in the top of the third inning at Haymarket Park Monday night.
With the Lemurs leading 5-1, the bases loaded and one out, the game will resume Tuesday evening at 5:05 p.m. and finish the full nine innings.
Following the conclusion, a seven-inning game will follow. Nick Van Stratten, Denis Phipps and John Alonso each homered for Laredo before the rain suspended play.
