Salmon Kings' Yeo Re-Assigned By Moose

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that forward Dylan Yeo has been re-assigned by the Manitoba Moose.

The Prince Albert, SK native is under contract to the Moose and returns after his first promotion to the AHL team this season. Yeo was recalled on January 31st and competed in 14 games for the Moose collecting one goal and four assists for five points. He also garnered a +/- rating of +2 while adding 10 minutes in penalties.

The second-year pro is having a superb season with the Salmon Kings. In 45 games with Victoria this season Yeo currently sits sixth among all ECHL defenseman in scoring with 38 points (10g-28a) and has collected 22 minutes in penalties.

The 23-year-old spent training camp with the Moose before being re-assigned to the Salmon Kings for the start of the season. Last year Yeo earned two promotions to Manitoba competing in eight games for the Moose and earning two assists and two minutes in penalties.

In his rookie season with Victoria he played in 55 games scoring 10 goals and earning 18 assists for 28 points along with 76 minutes in penalties. In 11 Kelly Cup Playoff games for the Salmon Kings in 2008 he scored four goals and added three assists for seven points.

The Salmon Kings continue their final home series of the regular season on Friday night versus the Idaho Steelheads at 7:05 p.m. The two teams will also meet Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. Sunday will also be Fan Appreciation Day.
