
Salmon Kings' Playoff Tickets on Sale Monday

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that tickets for the first two home dates of the first round of the 2011 Kelly Cup Playoffs go on sale this Monday, March 28th at 10:00 a.m.
The Salmon Kings clinched the final playoff spot in the Western Conference tonight with a comeback shootout victory in Stockton. Tickets for the first two home dates in the opening round of the 2011 Kelly Cup Playoffs can be purchased starting next Monday at 10:00 a.m. Fans can purchase playoff tickets in person at the Select Your Tickets Box Office, online at www.selectyourtickets.com, or by phone at 250-220-7777. Victoria's playoff opponent is yet to be determined, with the full first round scheduled to be announced at a later date. Purchased tickets will be available for pickup once all playoff details are confirmed. The Western Conference quarterfinals series is a 2-3 format with the higher seed choosing the first two or final three games at home.
Fans who purchase a complete Kelly Cup Playoff package that guarantees seats to all home postseason games at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, will receive all first round home games for free. Additionally, discounts on playoff tickets will be available for fans that order group packages of 10 or more tickets for any home playoff game. For more information, please call 250-2207889.
The Salmon Kings will make their fifth appearance in the Kelly Cup Playoffs next month. Victoria's first appearance in the ECHL's postseason came in a series versus the Alaska Aces in the 2006-07 season. The Salmon Kings have also advanced to the second round in two of their four previous playoff appearances.
The Salmon Kings finish their road portion of the 2010-11 regular season this weekend with two more contests in Stockton beginning tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. Victoria returns home for the final series of the regular season on Wednesday, March 30th, to open a three-game set against the Alaska Aces at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
