
Salmon Kings Announce Revised Full Schedule

Victoria Salmon Kings News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today the new times for their revised 2008-09 regular season schedule.
The revised schedule is due to the Fresno Falcons ceasing operations on December 22nd. Victoria had six games remaining (three home games and three road games) versus Fresno.
The April 1-4 three game home stand versus Fresno has been eliminated. Instead the Salmon Kings will have a bye week. The three games will be made up during pre-existing Salmon Kings' home stands.
New Home Dates
1) Sunday, February 8th versus the Las Vegas Wranglers - Time: 5:05 p.m.
2) Sunday, March 15th versus the Ontario Reign - Time: 1:05 p.m.
3) Sunday, March 22nd versus the Idaho Steelheads - Time: 1:05 p.m.
The three remaining road games will also be added onto pre-existing road trips.
New Road Dates
1) Sunday, February 15th at the Alaska Aces - Time: 5:05 p.m.
2) Tuesday, March 24th at the Stockton Thunder - Time: 7:00 p.m.
3) Friday, March 27th at the Bakersfield Condors - Time: 2:00 p.m.
The Salmon Kings now play 12 games during the month of February and 15 games during the month of March.
The Salmon Kings welcome the Pacific Division leading Ontario Reign to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre this weekend for a two-game set. The first game goes on Friday night and the second on Saturday evening. Both games start at 7:05 p.m. This series will also be the Coca-Cola Whiteout Weekend! The first 2500 fans into the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre wearing white will be given a coupon or a free medium Coca-cola fountain drink on both Friday and Saturday nights.
