Dayton Bombers Military Appreciation Weekend Starts Saturday
January 7, 2009 - ECHL (ECHL)
Dayton Bombers News Release
Bombers fans, be sure to catch all the hard-hitting, fast-paced professional "AA" hockey action at the Nutter Center this weekend when your Dayton Bombers host the first place Wheeling Nailers on Saturday night at 7:30 and the Trenton Devils on Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
It's Military Appreciation Night II on Saturday as the Bombers honor the servicemen and women of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the Springfield Air National Guard! Silver level tickets are 2-for-1 at the box office with all military or WPAFB civilian ID.
This weekend the Bombers will be wearing special military themed jerseys, designed by WPAFB employee Denise Baker. The jerseys will be auctioned off live after the game on Saturday to benefit the WPAFB Fisher/Nightingale Houses and Dayton Bombers Foundation. Base personnel will also be competing in an intermission broomball game on the Bombers' ice.
Hold on to your ticket stub from Saturday night for a "Military Appreciation Weekend" special ticket offer!
On Sunday when the Devils come to town, take your ticket stub from Saturday night's game to the Nutter Center box office and redeem for a FREE ticket of equal value! Also, kids 12 and under receive a FREE Silver level ticket with the purchase of an adult Silver level ticket at the box office. Then head over to the Mountain Dew Flight Deck to play on the giant inflatable, courtesy of A&S Playzone. The first 1,500 fans in the arena will receive Player Trading Card Set #4, featuring Dominic D'Amour, Greg Labenski, Tyler Plante, Les Reaney and Tyler Wooddisse. These players will be featured in an autograph session at ice level immediately following the game.
