
Salmon Kings Announce Opening Series Promotions

Anchorage, AK - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Manitoba Moose and Vancouver Canucks, announced today their promotional schedule for the home-opening series for the 2009-10 season.
All the action kick-starts tonight when the Salmon Kings open their home schedule versus the Bakersfield Condors at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre at 7:05 p.m. Fans are invited to purchase the brand new version of the Victoria Salmon Kings game program, a 36-page glossy souvenir that includes player biographies, an autograph section, and coupons valued up to $50. Throughout the 2009-10 season there will be seven different programs to collect, so make sure you don't miss any!
Friday, October 23rd is Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) night. The CNIB will be on hand providing 50/50 tickets and "chuck-a-pucks" for huge prize giveaways! The winner of Friday's second-intermission chuck-a-puck will win overnight accommodations in Vancouver at the Accent Inn Vancouver Airport and two tickets to the Canucks versus the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday, November 26th, 2009 courtesy of BE A FAN. Representatives from Bear Mountain Golf Course will also be in attendance on Friday to give away six round of first-class golf during the second intermission! Be sure to make your way down to the Save-on-Foods Memorial Center earlier on Friday, as the first 2,000 fans will receive complimentary clappers courtesy of the Times Colonist.
Saturday, October 23rd is SELL-OUT SATURDAY at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre as two adults and two children can attend the finale between the Salmon Kings and Condors for just $25! Tickets can be purchased by calling 250-220-7777 or by visiting www.selectyourtickets.com. The first 2,000 fans in attendance on Saturday will also receive pom-poms to help cheer on the Salmon Kings! The Zone at 91.3 and 100.3 the Q will also be on hand to broadcast live from the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre and will be giving away prizes during the second intermission.
Make sure to purchase your tickets and get to the arena early this week to take advantage of all the great opening-weekend promotions!
