Alaska's Morehouse Suspended One Game, Fined
October 21, 2009 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release
PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Alaska forward
Chris Morehouse for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount as a
result of his actions in ECHL Game #22 at Alaska on Oct. 19.
He is suspended and fined under Rule 29 - Supplemental Discipline for his
actions following the conclusion of the second period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and
the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the
ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Morehouse will miss Alaska's game at Las Vegas (Oct. 22).
