
Salmon Kings and Moose switch D-men

Victoria Salmon Kings News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that defenseman Matt Kelly has been recalled by the Manitoba Moose of the AHL, and defenseman Patrick Coulombe has been returned to the Salmon Kings from Manitoba.
Kelly played 59 games for Victoria last season and has participated in all nine of the team's games this season. He last played for the Moose in the 2005-06 when he joined the team for three games after finishing up his junior career in the Ontario Hockey League. The 22-year-old is under contract to the Moose.
Patrick Coulombe returns to the Salmon Kings after going to Manitoba on Thursday, November 1st. Coulombe played two games for the Moose during that stint. This year he has played in five games and collected the overtime winning goal versus Idaho in the Salmon Kings season opener.
Coulombe will join the Victoria in Utah for the finale of the three game series.
The Salmon Kings roster now sits at 20 players (12 forwards, 6 defensemen and two goalies).
The Salmon Kings return to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre on Wednesday night to take on the Stockton Thunder at 7:05 p.m. PT. It is Military Appreciation Night please call 220-7889 for ticket information.
