Sales Closing in on 45,000 for Esks - Riders Game

(Edmonton) Saturday's Eskimos - Roughriders game at Commonwealth Stadium is hot seller. Close to 45,000 tickets have been snapped up for the CFL West Division battle between Saskatchewan (5-2) and Edmonton (1 - 6). Kickoff is at 5pm.

"This is a great rivalry that gets better every year. 'Rider fans are passionate but we know the Eskimo Empire will be out in force to give us a true home field advantage," says Dave Jamieson, Eskimo Director of Communications & Marketing.

September 26, 2009, these two teams drew 62,517 fans to Commonwealth Stadium, a CFL regular season single game attendance record. Saskatchewan will make their second and final regular visit to Edmonton this season on Saturday, October 23.
