LILLINGTON, NC (Thursday, April 12) - The Salem Red Sox (6-1) hit the road for their first away game of the season tonight as they take on the Buies Creek Astros at Jim Perry Stadium. Right-handed hurler and 2017 Boston fourth-round draft pick Jake Thompson (0-0, 3.18) gets the ball for Salem against Astros righty Brandon Bielak (0-1, 5.40). First pitch is at 7:00 p.m., and the pregame show with Ben Gellman begins at 6:45 p.m.
