St. Paul Saints News Release
ST. PAUL, MN- Labor Day is fast-approaching, the Minnesota State Fair is already upon us and alas, the season is nearing a close for the St. Paul Saints. All these signal the end of summer, but don't let it slip away quietly. Partnering with BUSH'S® Beans, the Saints are celebrating the end of summer with four days of celebrities, family secrets and an opportunity to live the suite life.
Starting Friday, September 2 and lasting through Labor Day, September 5, the Saints will have their classic recipe for fun mixed with a variety of entertainment provided by our friends at BUSH'S®, beginning with a press conference at 2:30 p.m. on Friday introducing 'Duke,' the BUSH'S® official spokesdog. Making an appearance for his adoring fans, 'Duke' will be available through the 2nd inning of each game this weekend for fans to come by and snap a photo with the iconic canine. Trying to share the Secret Family Recipe since Jay Bush whispered it in his ear, 'Duke' has been a staple for BUSH'S® for nearly two decades. Come by and see if 'Duke' will spill the beans on the recipe as he poses with his innocent face and signature smile.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with BUSH'S® Beans," said Saints General Manager and Executive Vice President Derek Sharrer."Family owned and operated since 1908, BUSH'S® embodies a spirit of entrepreneurship that has been so important to the Saints since our inception in 1992. What better way to end the summer than to pair up BUSH'S® Beans and Duke with the Saints and Little Red Porkette!"
In the spirit of Duke's desire to tellhis fans about the Secret FamilyRecipe, the Saints and BUSH'S® want to know your best kept family secrets. Submit your greatest (family friendly) secrets using the hashtag #FamilySecret on Twitter for a chance to win tickets to a Saints game. There will be a winner picked daily from September 1 to September 4.
