
Saints and Sports Rained Out

SHREVEPORT, LA (July 14, 2007) - It's been a wet and soggy seven day roadtrip for the St. Paul Saints and it finally resulted in a rain out. The Saints and Shreveport Sports were rained out on Saturday night at Fairgrounds Field and will make it up as part of a double header on Sunday afternoon beginning at 1:05 p.m. Both games are scheduled for seven innings and the second game will begin approximately 25 minutes at the conclusion of the first game. The Saints will send LHP Brian Whinnery (5-1, 1.80) to the mound in game one and RHP Charlie Ruud (5-3, 3.87) to the mound in game two. The Sports will send RHP Grant Wilson (2-0, 3.58) to the mound in game one and RHP Matt Yeatman (5-2, 3.80) to the mound in game two. The game will not be on radio, but can be heard on the Saints website at saintsbaseball.com.
