Dallas Sidekicks News Release
DALLAS (October 22, 2013) - The Dallas Sidekicks have re-signed goaltenders Sagu and Milo for the 2013-14 PASL season.
Sagu was at the top of his game last season, finishing with a league best 11-2 record. The Brazilian was named to the PASL All-League First Team and finished with a Save Percentage of .792 and a Goals Against Average of 3.56. Sagu played for the Sidekicks from 1999-2004, and rejoined the team for its comeback last year.
Backing up Sagu will be Serbian born Dejan "Milo" Milosevic. The 27-year-old notched a 10-4 Sidekicks win late in the season last year, and was a standout in net for the team during the PASL's summer league.
Together the two goaltenders give Dallas a solid presence in front of the net as the team faces several expansion teams brand new to the Central Division.
"We want to bring a championship back home to Dallas," Sagu said. "We have a good group of guys this year, and I'm excited to be a part of it again. We are ready to work."
The Sidekicks begin their 2013-14 season on Saturday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. at the Allen Event Center. Individual and season tickets are on sale now at www.dallassidekicks.net or by calling 214-550-6130.
