Sags Shut Down Wildcats 3-0 in Series Opener

Goaltender Remi Delafontaine made 39 saves leading Chicoutimi over the Wildcats 3-0 before 3,600 fans to open the QMJHL Playoffs at the Avenir Centre on Good Friday.
Emile Duquet paced the Sagueneens with two goals, including an empty netter, while Craig Armstrong had the other. Moncton outshot the Sags 39-29 and the league's #1 powerplay was 0 for 5 in Game 1.
The Wildcats look to even the series Saturday night at 7pm with Game two at the Avenir Center.

Next week, the series will shift to the Centre Georges-Vézina in Chicoutimi for Game 3 Tuesday night at 8:30pm, followed by Game 4 Wednesday night & Game 5 Friday night.
