Sadler, Moore Claim Player Of The Week Awards

DURHAM, NC - Pointstreak, the official statistician of the American Association, has selected Kansas City T-Bones OF Ray Sadler and Sioux Falls Pheasants RHP Ben Moore as the Pointstreak Batter and Pitcher of the Week.

In six games, Sadler batted .462 with three home runs and nine RBIs. He collected 12 hits in 26 at-bats, plated nine runs, walked four times and had an on-base percentage of .533. In the 8-6 victory over the Lincoln Saltdogs Sunday, Sadler went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBIs. The Clifton, TX resident is currently batting .354 with 17 home runs and 76 runs batted in. Sadler is tied for first in the league in RBIs and second in home runs.

Moore continues to have a terrific 2011 season. In Saturday's 8-1 win over the Winnipeg Goldeyes, the St. Croix Falls, WI resident tossed a complete game allowing only an earned run on two hits with a walk and 10 strikeouts. Moore is 10-2 on the season with a 2.23 ERA in 96 2/3 innings pitched. He is first in the American Association in strikeouts (90) and earned run average and tied for first in wins.
