Sacramento Republic FC and PORTAL to Collaborate at TBD Fest

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (September 19, 2015) - Sacramento Republic FC and PORTAL are collaborating at TBD Fest this weekend to help cultivate design ideas for the club's proposed downtown soccer specific stadium. PORTAL is an art installation that is 12 feet tall and occupies an 8-foot by 8-foot area. It is an urban design initiative to activation dormant spaces within Sacramento's urban fabric, engaging the public through both social media, design and data collection.

On Saturday, September 19, TBD Fest volunteers will be asking attendees for input on the stadium design. Participants have a chance to be randomly selected for an upgrade seat in the SRFC VIP Cabana. Republic FC will also be streaming the match on September 19 from PORTAL at TBD Fest. Broadcast starts at 7:30 p.m.

Fans who do not have tickets to TBD Fest who would like to participate in the survey may fill out the survey on SacRepublicFC.com. Fans who have taken the survey online are automatically entered for a chance to win tickets to TBD Fest.

It is one of multiple opportunities for the public to participate in the design process. Operation Turnkey and Republic FC have already hosted more than half dozen workshops on various themes related to the stadium project and over 4,000 completed online surveys. Learn more at SacRepublicFC.com.
