OVERVIEW: The SaberCats had their 15-game regular season home win streak come to an end and dropped to 2-2 on the season with a 59-56 loss to undefeated Dallas on Mar. 22. San Jose now hits the road for two straight games beginning on Saturday, Mar. 29 with their first-ever meeting with the Central Division Kansas City Brigade from the new Sprint Center. Against Dallas WR Cleannord Saintil set a team record with 18 receptions, tying him for the 4th highest total in AFL history, and amassed 218 receiving yards, but a lost fumble late in the fourth quarter proved decisive as Dallas built a 10-point lead with half-a-minute to play. The loss was the first at HP Pavilion during the regular season for San Jose since Mar. 12, 2006, when the Los Angeles Avengers posted a 75-61 win. WR James Roe surpassed Randy Gatewood (687) and moved into 13th place in career receptions with 693...Saturday's game marks the first meeting between the clubs and Kansas City will be the 41st different AFL franchise the SaberCats will have played in their history...The Brigade had a 7-win improvement from their inaugural 2006 season (3-13) to last year (10-6) when the club made its first playoff appearance.
