Philadelphia Soul News Release
PHILADELPHIA - "Philadelphia Soul Live" will be making its debut this Wednesday, March 26 on Sports Radio 950 (soon to be 950 ESPN), from live Totaro's Restaurant in Conshohocken at 7 p.m. (et). Philadelphia Soul play-by-play announcer, Ari Wolfe and the Soul's very own Joe Krause will give fans three hours of nothing but Soul football. The show includes an hour pre- and post-show that will include giveaways and live musicians.
Joining Ari and Krausey will be Soul head coach Bret Munsey, and members of the 2008 Philadelphia Soul team, including wide receiver Chris Jackson and defensive back Mike Brown. The show promises to be action packed with high energy, just like the Soul games.
The show will go review the Soul's previous game and highlight the keys to winning the club's upcoming game, as well as include giveaways, live music and the 2008 "Series of 12" autographed collectibles that will also be accumulated each week.
The Philadelphia Soul, YOUR Team...YOUnited, continue the 2008 season this Saturday, March 29 at home against the Tampa Bay Storm at 2 p.m. (et). The first 5,000 fans to the game will receive an inflatable flag courtesy of Aarons Rentals and Lease.
The Soul are celebrating their fifth anniversary this season. The team has drawn an AFL-best 514,226 fans combined during the past four years. Following last season, the Soul were recognized with the Commissioner's Award as the Organization of the Year and were an honorable mention for the PRISM Award in the category of fan appreciation.
