
SaberCats Set Practice Schedule

SAN JOSE, Calif. (July 23, 2002) â It's back to work for the San Jose SaberCats as they resume practice on Wednesday following a two-day break.
San Jose defeated Carolina, 58-41, in the regular season finale on July 21 and set an Arena Football League record for most wins in a season by going 13-1.
The SaberCats, the top seeded team entering the 2002 AFL postseason, will practice three days this week in preparation for their 12:00 p.m. (PT) quarterfinal playoff game on Saturday, August 3, at the Compaq Center.
The identity of San Jose's opponent will be determined following the first round of playoffs this weekend. San Jose will host the lowest remaining seed that escapes the first round.
Practice sessions are open to the public with coaches and players available for interviews following the conclusion of each practice session. For updated practice information contact the SaberCats' media relations department.
