SAN JOSE, Calif. (Mar. 24, 2005) â The San Jose SaberCats and Bay Area television station KBWB (WB20) will bring Arena Football League fans its own version of Monday Night Football.
The SaberCats will battle the Las Vegas Gladiators in a crucial Western Division battle on Monday, March 28 beginning at 7:00 p.m. (PT) from the Thomas & Mack Center. WB20 will air the game live in the Bay Area with Barry Tompkins and former San Francisco 49er and four-time Super Bowl champion Keena Turner calling the action.
Entering Week Nine of the AFL season the SaberCats (4-3) trail the Gladiators (5-3) by half a game in the standings. San Jose defeated Las Vegas earlier this season, 66-31, on Feb. 5 at HP Pavilion and leads the all-time series 3-1.
