Crush activate Walker, place Reese on IR

DENVER – The Colorado Crush have activated wide receiver/defensive back Jabir Walker and placed offensive/defensive lineman Tank Reese on injured reserve, the team announced today. The roster moves leave the Crush at the league minimum of 20 players on the active roster.

Walker (5-11, 185 Murray State) made his AFL debut in the win over Los Angeles on February 27, totaling 2.0 tackles in the only game he has appeared in this season. He missed the first four games of the season with a strained right groin, and sat out the last two with a strained right hamstring.

Reese (5-11, 294, Kansas State) suffered a strained right hamstring in practice on Wednesday. He started at nose guard in the first two games of the season, but missed the next three games after being placed on injured reserve with influenza on February 12. He was activated on March 11 and appeared in the last two Crush games. Reese has totaled 4.0 tackles in four games, and recovered a fumble for a touchdown in his AFL debut at Orlando on January 30.

Reese will be eligible to return to action when the Crush host Philadelphia April 10.

Crush defensive specialist Rashad Floyd remains a game-time decision after suffering a lower left leg contusion that during the opening minutes of the Crush win over Columbus that forced him to miss the remainder of the game.
