Texas League president Tom Kayser announced today that RockHounds infielder Ryon Healy and pitcher Sean Manaea have been name the league's Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for the period of July 27-August 3.

Healy hit .444 (12-for-27) in seven games with two doubles, two home runs and nine RBI. In that span, he also recorded four multi-hit games, including a five-hit performance on the road against Frisco on July 29.

Entering play on Monday, Healy ranks fifth in the Texas League with 107 hits. Since the All-Star break, the 23-year-old is batting .382 (29-for-76) with nine extra-base hits and 17 RBI over a 20-game span.

Healy was selected by Oakland in the third round of the 2013 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Oregon.

Manaea, who was acquired by the A's organization on July 28 in a trade with Kansas City, made his first start with the RockHounds on July 31 against Corpus Christi.

In just his third Double-A start, Manaea threw seven shutout innings and allowed just three hits, while striking out nine. He faced just one batter over the minimum as 62 of his 87 pitches went for strikes.

The 23-year-old was originally drafted by the Royals with the 34th overall selection in the 2013 MLB First Year Draft out of Indiana State University. Prior to the start of the 2015 season, Manaea was ranked as Kansas City's third-best prospect by Baseball America.
